In Romanian: Piscoturi cu chimen si nuci
Ingredients[]
- 8 oz / 250 g flour
- 2 eggs
- 4 oz / 130 g sugar
- 1 teaspoon lard
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 20 ground walnuts
- 1 teaspoon caraway
- butter to grease the pan
Directions[]
- Beat the eggs with the sugar, then add lard, walnuts, baking soda, caraway and finally the flour.
- Knead well.
- Roll into 2 one inch thick sheets.
- Grease a baking pan and lay the two sheets next to each other and bake at medium heat.
- Cut while hot into long, finger thick strips.
