Ingredients[]

  • 4 oz / 100 g sugar
  • 4 oz / 100 g flour
  • 4 oz / 100 g ground walnuts
  • 1 egg
  • 3 oz / 80 g lard
  • a few drops rum essence
  • shortening for greasing the baking sheet

Directions[]

  1. Cream the [sugar]] with the egg and lard, add walnuts, rum essence and flour.
  2. Knead well.
  3. Make little balls (walnut sized) and arrange on the previously greased baking sheet, leaving a lot of space among them.
  4. Bake at medium heat.
