  1. Melt ½ cup butter in saucepan.
  2. Blend in granulated sugar, cocoa, vanilla, egg, crumbs, coconut, and nuts.
  3. Press mixture into 9-inch square pan.
  4. Cream ¼ cup butter until light and add dry pudding mix, milk, and confectioners' sugar, blending well.
  5. Spread over mixture and chill thoroughly.
  6. Melt chocolate with 1 tablespoon butter, stirring to blend.
  7. Spread over chilled mixture.
  8. Chill, then cut into bars. Yummy!
