  1. Beat sugar and margarine together; blend in eggs.
  2. Cook cubed kiwifruit in small amount of water until heated thoroughly.
  3. Add enough water to make 1 cups fruit and cool.
  4. Stir wet ingredients together.
  5. Stir kiwifruit and cherries into sugar mixture.
  6. Blend dry ingredients into kiwifruit mixture.
  7. Pour batter into well-oiled loaf pan.
  8. Bake at 350°F.
  9. For 30 minutes or until bread test done.
  10. Cool in pan for 5 minutes; then invert onto wire rack.
  11. Slice thick when serving.
