  1. Chop fruit.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  3. Beat butter in large bowl until creamy.
  4. Blend in eggs, apple juice concentrate, and vanilla.
  5. Add flour, oats, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and allspice; mix well.
  6. Stir in dried fruit and nuts.
  7. Drop scant ¼ cupfuls of dough, 3" apart, onto lightly greased cookie sheets; flatten slightly.
  8. Bake 12 – 14 minutes, until edges are lightly browned.
  9. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
  10. Store in tightly covered container.
