Lovely almond and cinnamon biscuits.

Directions[]

  1. Mix the flour, sugar, cinnamon and flaked butter.
  2. Knead until it becomes a smooth dough.
  3. Put in the fridge for 45 minutes to harden.
  4. Grease a baking sheet, roll the dough onto it.
  5. Brush with beaten egg white and sprinkle with the coarse sugar and almond flakes.
  6. Cut into rectangular biscuits and put the sheet in the oven at 200°C until golden brown.
  7. After cooling break the biscuits along the cut lines.
