- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp almond extract
- 2 x eggs
- 1/2 cup currants or Raisins
- 1/3 cup golden raisins
- 1/2 cup almonds, chopped
- 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp ground cardamom
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- cream together butter or margarine, honey, and brown sugar.
- Add eggs and extracts; mix well.
- Stir in currants, Raisins, and almonds.
- Add dry ingredients; mix well.
- Drop by tablespoon onto greased cookie sheets. Bake 15 minutes.
